Bryan Duggan has recently completed his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Divine Mercy University in Virginia, and has applied to become a registered psychologist in British Columbia. He is working under the supervision of a registered psychologist during this application phase. Bryan has several years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, including community mental health and group private practice. He has worked with couples and individuals of all ages. He is passionate about a client-centered approach in which the therapist accompanies the client in their experience and assists with movement towards greater freedom and flourishing in life and relationships. He utilizes an integrated approach to therapy with a focus on the individual needs of the client. Bryan draws primarily from psychodynamic modalities including attachment-based, interpersonal, and trauma-informed approaches. He also has training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. In addition, he can provide select psychodiagnostic and personality assessments.

Since 2011, Bryan has ministered in the lower mainland as an ordained priest of the Catholic Archdiocese of Vancouver. He has a background in ministry with people of all ages and specialized for a time assisting adolescents and young adults discerning major life decisions. Bryan works with clients from all walks of life facing a wide variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, relational distress, vocational discernment and life transitions, problematic behaviours (i.e. substance use, pornography), and existential/spiritual matters.
